At Petloft Grooming, we believe grooming should be a calm, positive, and caring experience for every dog. Our home-based grooming salon was created to provide pets with gentle, one-on-one care in a quiet and stress-free environment, away from the noise and pressure of busy grooming salons.
Petloft Grooming is founded on a genuine love for animals and a passion for helping dogs look and feel their best. With professional grooming experience and a strong focus on animal wellbeing, every appointment is handled with patience, attention to detail, and kindness.
Because we operate as a home-based grooming studio, each dog receives individual care and time, allowing us to work at a pace that keeps them comfortable and relaxed. Our goal is not just a beautiful groom, but also to ensure that every dog leaves feeling safe, happy, and confident.

Our Story
The inspiration behind Petloft comes from a personal journey of overcoming fear and discovering a deep love for dogs.
As a child, I developed a fear of dogs after an aggressive encounter with a large dog at the age of eight. For many years, this experience shaped how I saw dogs. However, through friends who owned gentle and loving pets, I slowly began to see a different side of them.
Everything changed when I adopted my first dog, Lulu. She helped me overcome my fear and showed me the loyalty, companionship, and joy that dogs bring into our lives.
Petloft was created from that experience. My goal is to treat every dog with patience, care, and understanding while creating a calm and positive grooming environment. Petloft is more than a grooming service — it reflects a genuine love and respect for every dog that comes through the door.

Services we provide
Our grooming services and packages are generally priced based on the size of your pet, Breed and coat condition. Additionally surcharges may apply for matted coats, tangles or knots. Very short clips will be be recommended on matted, knotted and tangled coats as this is the most humane way for grooming our furry friends.

While we do not charge a difficult fee, we will do our best to ensure the work is done but we reserve rights to seize the groom if it becomes too distressing for the dog with full fee paid to us as we have allocated time and spot for the grooming section. However, groomer and pet owner can reschedule another day to complete the groom if need be at no cost.
We are a home -based pet salon
Usually, we try to dematt if its the coat is mildly matted. anything from moderate to severe matted coat will require a shave down but with client's permission. De-matting a moderate -severe matted coat can be extremely painful and traumatizing for dogs, our goal is to ensure that each dog's grooming experience is enjoyable and free from pain. The best reommendation in this case, would be to shave the coat down and start growing the coat from scratch with education provided to client on how to properly prevent matted coat on your pet
Grooming time runs from 2-4hrs usually depending on the type of service you were requesting for . Also depends on the breed, size and behaviour of the pet. We would usually contact our customers to pick up their bestie when we are all done.
We try to put Client's travel distance in consideration, However, 30mins late starting from the time you were contacted could incur a care fee of $10/ 30mins
As a way to reward customers, we have our loyalty cards for repeat customers offering good discounts on the 5th and 10th visit .

We are fully trained and qualified. Attended Pet Stylist Academy Gold-coast, where full intensive training was provided to be able to understand, care and groom your fur baby safely and with care. We are fully insured and use good quality and safe products made and manufactured here in Australia. We are cage free which means your fur baby won’t be locked up in a cage waiting for their turn. We only offer 1:1 grooming session in a quiet environment, so no need to be worried about other pets or you fur baby not getting attention. We believe in offering safe, comfortable and gentle grooming , quality over quantity. We don’t like pets been rushed, so we take our time to ensure we do a good job to impress our clients and also make your fur baby feel good and look great.
Grooming prices are set based on dog weight and coat’s condition. Prices are also set to be able to pay our groomer a wage by the hour and also keep on the day to day ongoing maintenance of the business like insurance, tool maintenance, buying and restocking grooming supplies, tools and equipment, gas, water and electricity bills, professional development, accountants & bookkeeping, phone and internet, admin, marketing, wage etc
Yes, we understand life happens and things can get in the way. While we do understand this. We also have the business side of things where we have ongoing business expense to pay. The spot has been reserved for you and that means we could not take any other client at that time the appointment was scheduled. Making the business to lose money if appointment is cancelled. We do charge 50% of the service fee which will be included on the next appointment.
